PES-51 Equipment Decontamination Case History — Exxon Hondo Crude Oil Spill

A transfer pump malfunction on the Exxon Hondo platform spilled approximately 100 barrels of crude oil into the Santa Barbara Channel. After the oil was contained and collected using Exxon and Clean Seas Co-op equipment and manpower, PES-51 was used to decontaminate Clean Seas response equipment.
